Difference Makers Academy is approved by the Virginia Board of Nursing, a training program that focuses on cultivating a culture of self-confidence and providing high quality education. Hi.  I am Princess Jarrett.  I have been a nurse since 2003 and worked in many different capacities in long term care facilities, assisted living facilities, home health and hospice.  I started a training program when I realized that some of our employees lack basic clinical skills, and we were having poor patient satisfaction as a result.  With my wealth of clinical experience, passion and commitment to teaching, I decided to create an environment where we promote active engagement and self-directed learning through techniques for our students like discussions including real life experiences, hands-on training, while honoring their desire to be involved in making decisions regarding their career path.
